HOW TO MEASURE AREAS FOR SOD
Depending on your property’s size and shape, it may only take 30 to 60 minutes to measure the amount of turfgrass you need. It is, however, time well spent. Some handy items you'll need include a measuring tape, pencil, paper and calculator. Be sure to measure carefully. Double-check your measurements for complete accuracy. It's always recommended to round up or add about 5 to 10 percent extra to make sure you have enough turfgrass for angles and cuts. It's ideal to have a little extra than not enough.
